Kindercentrum Kids 'n Ko Locatie Kleine Ster

Welcome to Kindercentrum Kids ’n Ko Locatie Kleine Ster, our small-scale daycare centre in the Baalderveld district of Hardenberg. We are located at Fonteinkruid 4, within the premises of primary school De Morgenster. Here we provide care for up to 32 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years, divided into two groups. Thanks to our deliberately small-scale set-up we can give every child the personal attention they deserve. Everything we do revolves around pre-school education (VE). We follow an accredited VE programme that playfully stimulates language, numeracy, social-emotional development and motor skills. Our pedagogical staff use tools such as a letter box, number plates on the wall and the Uk & Puk programme to prepare children for primary school through play. We practise concepts such as big, small, heavy and light and teach children to recognise numbers and letters without formal reading or arithmetic. Our all-inclusive concept means that parents do not have to worry about extra costs. Nappies, food, fruit, drinks and all care products are included in the price. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are also provided. We take allergies and diets into account and tailor our care to the needs of each child. We work closely with the primary school, exchanging information about the children’s development and ensuring a warm handover so that the transition to Year 1 runs smoothly.
