Welcome to Kids-Home daycare center at Kelvinstraat 3 in Maastricht-Heer. We are a flexible daycare where children from 6 weeks to 4 years can be themselves. We put each child's individuality and autonomy first. We believe that a child's environment largely determines how they develop their talents and interests. The first four years of life are crucial and form the basis for later development. Our opening hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We provide small-scale care where respect for each other and the environment is paramount. We create a climate where children learn to trust their environment and themselves. By continuously observing what children are engaged in and where their interests lie, we can respond with appropriate activities. We work with the VVE method 'Speelplezier' (Playful Fun) that seamlessly aligns with our vision. This method provides children with routine and structure. Through play, they learn new words, objects, and actions. We stimulate development in social, personal, emotional, and motor areas and teach children to deal with norms and values. Our approach combines results-oriented work with activities that match each child's developmental level and world of experience. We consider parental involvement essential for open communication. We involve parents in various ways in their child's care. Kids-Home is part of Kindcentrum de Vlinderboom, which also includes primary school de Vlinderboom, 't Hummelke, and Hummel-Kids. Together we provide care and education for children from 0 to 13 years from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
