Kid's Garden

Kid’s Garden is a Dutch-speaking daycare centre located at Bemelergrubbe 15 in Maastricht. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and homely environment. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Optimist method, which guides children in a positive and constructive way and gives them space to contribute to their own daily programme. At Kid’s Garden, the integral development of the child is central. We focus on all key developmental areas: emotional safety, social skills, personal growth and moral development. Our professionals trained in baby care provide emotional security, care and tailored guidance. We do not use a formal Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme, as we believe Optimist already meets all pre-school requirements. We consider good cooperation between parents, staff and management essential. Open and loyal communication ensures that every child can develop optimally. In addition, children are introduced to the English language in a playful way, so that they become familiar with multilingualism from an early age. Kid’s Garden is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and is inspected annually by the GGD. Our location has a capacity for a maximum of 46 children. We work with a quality handbook in which our working methods are laid down and we regularly check whether we continue to follow our own guidelines properly. This keeps us focused on the quality of our service.
