KDV Assen De Buitenborg

Welcome to KDV De Buitenborg – Marsdijk, our daycare centre located in the Marsdijk district of Assen. We provide care for up to 14 children in a single vertical group, bringing together children aged 0 to 4 years. This mixed-age setting encourages natural development: older children learn to care, while younger ones learn by example. Our centre is centrally located in Marsdijk, next to CKC De Borg and close to Vredeveld shopping centre. A dedicated baby corner offers the youngest a calm, safe space with extra attention. Our certified pedagogical staff provide warm, personal care and guide children through daily activities such as music, toddler gym, crafts and reading aloud. We follow the recognised Early Childhood Education programme Uk & Puk, which gently prepares children for primary school through play. The programme focuses on language, numeracy and social skills, all tailored to the world of young children. Alongside development, we value rest and routine: there is plenty of room for sleep, play and discovery. Our outdoor area invites movement and adventure. We believe children should be able to play and learn both inside and outside. Parents appreciate our commitment and the close bond their children build with our staff.
