BSO Damwâld De Blokkedoaze

BSO De Blokkedoaze is located at Badhúswei 31b in Damwâld and is part of Kids First. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, before and after school hours, on study days and during school holidays. Our location is a certified Binnenstebuiten site: we guarantee plenty of outdoor play, nature experience and adventure. Children have all the space they need to play together, make friends and explore boundaries. We recently introduced a new group structure: the youngest children (4-6 years) stay in the familiar setting of De Blokkedoaze in the ‘Hoelahoep’ group, while older children (6-12 years) move to ‘De Campus’, a space right next to our building with the groups ‘Stuiterbal’ and ‘Jojo’. This set-up allows every child to grow and discover at their own level. Our pedagogical staff respond smartly to the changing needs of older children: from independence and cooperation to taking on new challenges. During holidays and study days we join forces with BSO De Stuiterbal and Jojo, ensuring varied and enjoyable daily programmes. We regularly organise excursions and activities that focus on the natural surroundings of Damwâld.
