Welcome to Kids and Carrots at Vissershavenstraat, our small-scale childcare location in the heart of Scheveningen. We provide high-quality childcare in small groups for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is easily accessible by public transport, car, or (cargo) bike. We work with horizontal groups: separate baby and toddler groups, preschool groups, and a preschool plus group. Through our intentionally smaller groups, there is more room for personal attention for each child. We maintain a maximum of 12 children per group, allowing our pedagogical staff ample time and space to focus on each child's individual development. Our approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where we stimulate children's unique and natural sense of wonder. We offer daily 100% organic meals that are freshly prepared with vegetables. Our well-designed and spacious playgrounds and outdoor spaces contribute to healthy development and provide children with opportunities to play and explore outdoors. We organize weekly activities with external teachers, including yoga and music lessons. Additionally, we regularly make excursions to parks, playgrounds, museums, and theaters in the area. These activities are part of our comprehensive offering focused on children's development in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
