Welcome to BSO Wartburgia, the nicest, sportiest and most flexible after-school care in Amsterdam East. We are located on the grounds of football club Wartburgia at Kruislaan 4A, right next to Drieburg sports park. From this unique location we pick up children daily from primary schools Aldoende, Pinksterbloem, MKC de Amstel and WSV. Our qualified staff collect the children by car, cargo bike or bicycle and bring them safely to our location. At BSO Wartburgia everything revolves around sport, exercise and fun. We work with a monthly programme full of varied activities that match the seasons and the ages of the children. Think of frisbee, knotty hockey, water racket building and tee-ball in summer, and theatre, movement & music, cupcake decorating and DJ workshops in winter. We are outside on the sports fields as much as possible, but in bad weather we offer an exciting indoor programme in the clubhouse. The space is set up with a drawing corner, table tennis, table football, mini billiards, a reading corner and a floor mat full of Kapla and trains. Our daily schedule is clear and calm: after arrival the children change into sportswear (provided by us), followed by a healthy eating moment, then the sport or activity of the day, a joint closing with food and drinks, and finally free play until pick-up. During holidays and study days we are open from 08:30 to 18:30; parents drop off between 08:30 and 09:30 and pick up between 16:30 and 18:30. We only work with qualified, sporty pedagogical staff who can present a Certificate of Good Conduct. Safety and quality are paramount; that is why we maintain a limited capacity of a maximum of 50 children. Parents receive the programme digitally every month via our Konnect parent app. Here they can also register absence, request extra days or view invoices. For the whole year we offer a 52-week package (€7.75 per hour), but incidental care is also possible (€8.50 per hour). Childcare allowance applies. In short, at BSO Wartburgia children move, play and develop in a sporty, safe and above all very fun place.
