Welcome to Kideo Groningen, our warm and homely daycare centre located at Hereweg 75 in Groningen. We provide care for up to 50 children aged 0 to 4 years. Everything we do is centred on creating a familiar environment where children feel safe and at home. Each horizontal group has its own fixed pedagogical staff, so parents and children see familiar faces every day; even our stand-ins come from a regular pool. Our pedagogical approach is based on the vision of Emmi Pikler: we follow the child’s own rhythm, provide calm and space for initiative and stimulate development through play. Every day we serve healthy, organic meals and snacks; drinks, bread meals, warm lunches and fresh fruit are included. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, nappies and wipes, quiet sleeping rooms and the option of outdoor sleeping. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play and nature exploration. Indoors there is plenty of room for reading, singing and creative activities. We use a parent portal so you can stay up to date about your child’s day. Half-day care is possible and we offer flexible childcare arrangements. In short, Kideo Groningen is an extension of home where your child can simply be themselves.
