Kiddo Lentfersweg

Kiddo is a KOSMO day-care centre located at Lentfersweg 27 in the heart of Rijssen. We share a beautiful, modern building with primary school De Klimop and work closely together. This unique location allows us to provide children aged 0 to 4 with a safe, familiar and stimulating environment. Our doors are open every weekday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. At Kiddo we work with two horizontal core groups: Doedels (0-4 years) and Deugniet (0-4 years). For the older toddlers we have the Bengels (2-4 years). Each group has its own space on the ground floor, furnished according to the Uk & Puk early-education method. Children find different play corners: a home corner for role play, a construction and car corner for creating, a quiet reading corner and a craft and drawing table. This fixed layout provides structure and stimulates development in language, social-emotional and motor skills. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with lots of love and personal attention. We use clear frameworks so that every child feels safe and still has all the space to discover. Learning through play is central. That is why we use proven programmes such as VVE (Pre- and Early-School Education) according to Uk & Puk. The themes connect with the world of experience of young children and prepare them in a playful way for primary school. Nappies, bottle feeding, healthy snacks, drinks and hot meals are always included with us. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. After playing, children can rest in a separate sleeping area. Behind the group rooms is our own, fully enclosed outdoor playground with age-appropriate equipment. Here children can enjoy fresh air every day, romp around and discover nature.
