Welcome to Kibeo Moerplein Yerseke, a warm and trusted daycare centre located in the multifunctional Tehaere centre at Moerplein 8 in the heart of Yerseke. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years in a safe, homely environment where every child feels seen and valued. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every morning to welcome your child with open arms and start the day full of new discoveries. At Kibeo Moerplein we work with horizontal groups: babies (0-2 years) and toddlers (2-4 years) are separated so that we can perfectly tailor care, activities and materials to your child’s developmental stage. For the very youngest this means soft cribs, bottle warmers, changing mats and a quiet sleeping area. For toddlers we have a challenging toddler group with small tables, a reading corner, a construction area and a separate toilet area with child-sized potties and sinks. We follow your home rhythm as closely as possible. This means we listen to when your child is used to sleeping, eating or having a bottle. Our staff carefully track sleep and feeding schedules in our app, so you know exactly how the day went. For babies we provide nappies, wipes, formula and first solids; for toddlers a healthy hot lunch is served, supplemented with fresh fruit and drinks throughout the day. Play and development are central. We use the VVE programme ‘Toddler Start’ which playfully prepares toddlers for primary school. Together with Puk – our friendly hand puppet – children learn to count, recognise colours, play together and learn new words. We sing every day, do arts and crafts with paint and clay, read picture books and build with blocks. Everything at a calm pace and tailored to the children’s interests. Safety and hygiene are a given. The location has secure entry, cameras in communal areas and a fully enclosed outdoor play area with soft fall surfaces. Outside, children can ride bikes, build sandcastles, slide and swing under the watchful eye of our staff. In fine weather the very youngest sometimes nap outdoors in the cooler morning air – a lovely experience we are happy to coordinate with parents. Parental involvement is important to us. We use the Kibeo app for photos, reports and messages, and regularly organise parent meetings. Our location parent council helps shape policy and activities such as the Sinterklaas celebration, Christmas breakfast or summer festival.
