Welcome to Kibeo Kerkplein Brouwershaven, the place where your toddler aged 2 to 4 discovers, learns and grows through play. We are located in OBS De Schoener, right in the heart of Brouwershaven, with which we work closely. Thanks to this unique location, we can guarantee a smooth transition from pre-school education to primary school. Our toddler group works in small, manageable groups of up to 8 children. This provides peace, overview and lots of personal attention. We offer childcare three sessions per week, allowing your child to develop through play in a familiar environment. Our spacious, colorful group room invites exploration and play. There are various play corners set up, including a craft corner that stimulates fine motor skills and a reading corner where language development is central. Outside we have a challenging playground with a large sandbox. Here children can romp, build sandcastles and play together. The outdoor space is designed to challenge children to let their imagination run wild while developing their gross motor skills. We work according to the principles of pre-school education (VVE). This means we offer targeted activities that match each child's developmental stage. We closely monitor your child's development using a standardized observation instrument. We regularly discuss the findings with you as a parent, so we can jointly contribute to your child's development. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding toddlers. They have recently been trained in specifically providing pre-school education and work closely with the internal supervisor of the primary school. This ensures a continuous developmental line from toddler care to primary education. We find it important that your child feels safe and at home with us. We offer a warm, predictable and positive climate with clear rules and routines. Together with you as a parent, we ensure that your child is well prepared to start primary school.
