Kersenbende

Welcome to BSO Kersenbende, located in Brede School De Kersenboom at Sportlaan 2B in Diemen. As part of Kind&co ludens, we provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar and safe environment. Our after-school care groups have access to two bright and cheerfully decorated classrooms within the community school. These spaces are smartly designed for dual use: with simple adjustments, we transform the school classrooms into a challenging after-school environment. Additionally, our children enjoy a play hall with a theater stage and a fully equipped gymnasium where they can play to their heart's content. Outside, we have access to a large playground where children can let off steam. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children space to feel comfortable and have fun, because only then is there room for development. We believe in growing and discovering: children are welcome and receive trust and space to be curious. Our rich environment offers inspiring and challenging opportunities to play, discover and learn. Together we form a mini-society in which we care for each other and the world around us. Our range of activities is varied and connects with the themes offered at school. We take into account the wishes of the children and offer various sports activities in our own gym and STEAM activities where children playfully get acquainted with science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. During school holidays we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so parents can also rely on our care during holidays. BSO Kersenbende is more than just after-school care. We create a place where children feel at home, can relax after a school day and at the same time discover and learn new things.
