Kekt

Kindcentrum Kekt is located at Buys Ballotsingel 108A in Schiedam and is part of Komkids Kinderopvang B.V. We provide children aged 0 to 4 with a safe, familiar environment where they can play and develop to their full potential. We value movement: our small gym and communal hall are perfect for active play and adventure. Every day all groups spend time outside on either the playground or the rooftop terrace so children can enjoy fresh air. Our full-day care (HDO) consists of three groups. Kleine Bear is a calm group for children aged 0–2, offering cosy corners for babies and an active discovery area for toddlers. Grote Bear is designed for 2- to 4-year-olds; here we prepare children for primary school by challenging their development and independence, making the eventual transition smoother and more enjoyable. Toversterren is a mixed-age group (0–4) where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play together, with quiet and active corners tailored to every developmental stage. In addition to full-day care we offer Shortened Day Care with Early Childhood Education (VVE). Children can attend four mornings a week from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. We use the Startblokken method to prepare children for primary school. Language is always central: themes and daily activities focus on expanding language comprehension. Parents are actively involved through the ‘words of the week’ that they practise at home with their child. In short, at Kindcentrum Kekt we work with dedication and expertise to create a warm place where every child has room to grow.
