KDV/PO de Papegaaitjes

KDV/PO de Papegaaitjes is located within primary school De Ommewending at Houtduifstraat 24 in Veendam. We provide toddler care for up to 14 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 101272911 and is operated by de Apenrots Westerbroek B.V. We use a horizontal group structure, where children play and learn in a small, manageable group. During school weeks, we are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The toddler care is closed during school holidays. Preschool education (VE) is part of our program. We offer structured activities focused on language and speech development, social skills and school readiness. These activities are tailored to the developmental stage of toddlers and prepare them for primary school. Our location is housed in the De Ommewending building, with which we work closely. This provides a familiar environment for children who will later attend this primary school. We use the school's facilities, including a secure outdoor area.
