KDV Yippee Kleinschalige Kinderopvang in Heeg provides daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate one vertical group in which children of different ages play and learn together. Our location at Tollewei 201 is small-scale and homely, ensuring every child feels at home quickly. Our pedagogical policy is built around four core goals: emotional safety, personal competence, social competence and the transmission of norms and values. Every day we use the Uk en Puk programme, which focuses on language, social-emotional development, motor skills and early numeracy. The puppet Puk is the children’s friend and experiences recognisable situations, making it easy for children to identify. We are open from 06:30 to 18:30, with flexible drop-off and pick-up times by arrangement. We value rest and regularity: babies follow their own rhythm, while toddlers nap between 12:30 and 14:30 in a sleeping bag. Each child is individually tracked through the Kiki Child Monitoring System and two observation lists (0-2 and 2-4 years). Parents receive a digital diary in Bitcare until the first birthday and can always discuss their child’s development. Nappies are included, as are fruit, drinks and biscuits. Formula is brought from home. We do not serve hot meals but provide a healthy snack. Our outdoor play area is spacious and safe, and we spend plenty of time outside in the fresh air. Children about to turn four receive a transfer form for school and after-school care, ensuring a smooth transition. We work closely with primary schools St Jozef and Wraldfinster in Heeg. Our pedagogical staff regularly attend training such as Baby Course, Language and Interaction Skills, and the Child Abuse Reporting Code. This guarantees professional and loving care in which every child is given the space to develop into an independent, social and balanced individual.
