Atalenta KDV Wilderen

Welcome to Atalenta KDV Wilderen, part of Child Center De Wilderen located at Meester Slootsweg 1 in Waalre. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe and challenging environment. Our location is housed in the same building as primary school De Wilderen, allowing children to grow up in one familiar place from an early age. We work with vertical groups where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. This stimulates social development and gives young children the opportunity to learn from older children. Our pedagogical professionals provide personal attention and follow our motto: 'I see you, you see me, we see each other!' This creates a warm and familiar atmosphere where every child can be themselves. Play-based learning is central to our approach. We offer a rich variety of activities tailored to your child's age and development, including music making, creative activities, language development and movement. We work thematically, focusing intensively on a theme for six weeks. Our play areas and materials are adapted to match the theme, allowing children to gain new knowledge through play. Our location features a spacious garden with playground equipment where children go outside daily to play and move. We also regularly offer sports activities organized by our specialist PE teacher. For the youngest children, we have quiet sleeping areas and provide all necessary care including diapers, bottle feeding and warm meals. We work closely with the district nurse from the child health clinic and offer the VVE program 'Startblokken'. This program helps children with potential developmental delays to be well prepared for primary school. Parents stay informed through our parent app Kidsadmin, which provides daily updates on your child's development.
