VVE Fiep Westendorp

Welcome to VVE Fiep Westendorp, our preschool in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We are here for curious toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Through play, your child gets all the space to develop together with peers from the neighborhood in a familiar environment. At our preschool, we work with the Preschool and Early Education (VVE) program Peuterplein. This learning program is tailored to your child's age and interests. The learning program and approach of the preschool connect with those of groups 1 and 2 in primary education. Through themes and professional guidance, we prepare your child for a smooth transition to primary school. There is a wide range of challenging activities. In the learning program, playing, discovering, and moving are central. There is much attention for language development, arithmetic, reading aloud, drawing, listening, singing, and moving. Both indoors and outdoors. This way, your child will go to primary school with confidence and well-prepared! We work with horizontal groups, where children of the same age are together in a group. This allows us to work specifically on the development of this particular age group.
