Vrije Kids

Vrije Kids is a small-scale daycare centre located at Javastraat 110 H in the heart of Amsterdam-Oost. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe, familiar and homely environment. Our name says it all: freedom is central. We believe in freedom of developmental opportunities, where every child is given the space to grow at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff are ready with warm care and personal attention. We work with small groups so that we can really take time for each child. Every day we offer fun and educational activities tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. Think of crafts, reading aloud, singing and games that stimulate language development and creativity. We provide fresh, hot meals and healthy snacks. Nappies and baby food are also included in the hourly rate of €12.31. We take into account the rest times of the very youngest and have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep in peace and quiet. Communication with parents is very important to us. We keep short lines of communication, both with the pedagogical staff and with the owner. This way you always know how your child has experienced their day. At Vrije Kids, everyone feels welcome – children and parents alike.
