Welcome to Vriendjes Passende Zorg-Location Waterwin, our brand-new daycare center in the heart of Utrecht-Leidsche Rijn. Since early 2022, we have been welcoming children from 3 months to 5 years in a warm, safe environment where every child can develop optimally. Our modern building at Musicallaan 102 accommodates 8 spacious groups, including 2 baby groups, 1 vertical group, 1 toddler group, and special 3+ groups that prepare children for primary school through play. We believe in the power of small-scale care and personal attention. Therefore, we work with fixed pedagogical staff who truly get to know your child. Our location manager Ilse Agterberg is ready to tell you everything about our pedagogical policy and our vision on (helping) raise children. We offer flexible childcare options, from shortened care between 8:30 and 17:30 to morning or afternoon care, and even fully flexible care where you can have a different schedule every week. For children who need extra care, we have two PLUS groups where up to 16 children aged 0-5 receive intensive guidance. These groups are fully integrated into our regular daycare center, allowing children with and without additional care needs to learn from each other. Our PLUS groups work with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapist, orthopedagogue, and speech therapist. Every 3 months, we set new development goals together with parents, which we work towards cyclically. At Vriendjes Waterwin, we find it important that children play and discover outdoors as much as possible. We offer outdoor sleeping and have a safe, challenging outdoor space where children can romp and discover nature. Music and language development are important pillars in our program - we sing a lot, read aloud from our extensive book collection, and stimulate language development with supporting gestures. Arts and crafts are also high on our program, where children can freely experiment with different materials. We provide complete care for your child: from diapers and wipes to bottle feeding and warm meals. For children with allergies or special dietary needs, we are happy to prepare appropriate meals. Our baby groups are equipped with separate sleeping rooms where the little ones can sleep peacefully, while the toddler groups work with a fixed sleep routine that aligns with the home situation.
