Voorschool 't Kwetternest

Voorschool ‘t Kwetternest is a small-scale preschool facility operated by Stichting Swazoom, located within Crescendo primary school at Kortvoort 61C in Amsterdam Zuidoost. We provide professional preschool education (VE) for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our mission is to prepare children for primary school through play-based learning, with special focus on language development, social-emotional skills and motor development. We follow the recognized VE method Uk & Puk, introducing a new theme every 6 weeks that connects with young children's experiences. Themes include 'Me and my family', 'Enjoy your meal!' and 'Oh, so hot!'. Our experienced pedagogical staff offer activities such as singing, dancing, reading, crafting and building. We often start the day outdoors on the playground with cycling, running, climbing and clambering. We actively involve parents in their child's development. For each theme, we provide parents with explanations and practice materials to continue working with words and songs at home. Diapers are included in our service and we serve healthy snacks like fruit and vegetables. We maintain a consistent daily routine so children know what to expect and feel secure. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 08:30 to 13:50. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 560824300.
