Villa Tamboerke

Welcome to Villa Tamboerke, our small-scale daycare centre located at Stoekeplein 1 in the heart of Hoogeveen. We are part of Stichting Spelerwijs Hoogeveen and have been providing care for up to 16 children with great enthusiasm since 2017. Our location is ideally suited for toddlers aged 2 to 4 who are ready for a safe, stimulating environment in which they can grow through play. At Villa Tamboerke we follow a clear daily rhythm that aligns with the natural needs of young children. We use horizontal groups, meaning children are placed in age-based groups. Most toddlers attend two linked half-days per week, allowing them to complete the full Uk & Puk programme. For children with an early childhood education (VVE) indication we offer four half-days per week of additional developmental support. Our toddler care follows the primary school holiday calendar of Hoogeveen; your contract is therefore based on 40 weeks per year. Our classroom is bright and spacious, with corners that invite exploration and play. We share a large, green and fully enclosed outdoor playground with the kindergarten children of the adjacent child centre. Here children can cycle, slide and build sandcastles to their heart's content. The natural environment stimulates their imagination and motor development. Thanks to our central location at Stoekeplein we are easily accessible yet peacefully situated. At Villa Tamboerke we believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued.
