Villa Ministek

Welcome to KDV Villa Ministek, located at Schoolweg 5 in the heart of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. We provide loving day-care for 48 children in two vertical groups of up to 16 children each, where children aged 0 to 4 play, learn and grow together. Our groups are deliberately mixed so that younger children learn from older ones while older children develop care and responsibility. At Villa Ministek we work with a team of VVE-trained pedagogical staff who use the Uk & Puk programme every day. This programme stimulates each child’s language, social and motor development in a playful, natural way. We believe children discover the world best through play; therefore we offer a rich play environment that centres on imagination, creativity and curiosity. Our location features a spacious, green outdoor playground where children can run, climb and explore to their heart’s content. We also regularly use the facilities of the adjacent Jan Hekmanschool, such as the gym and the large child-friendly kitchen. Here we organise extra movement activities and cook or bake together, stimulating sensory development. Villa Ministek is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We offer flexible days and parents can swap days when needed, ensuring a suitable solution for every family. Nappies and formula are included, so parents do not need to bring anything extra. We respect each baby’s individual rhythm and encourage toddlers to become independent. Our mission is to offer every child a warm, safe and challenging environment in which they can develop optimally. We work closely with parents and carers, believing that close cooperation between home and day-care best promotes the child’s well-being. Together we give children a bright start!
