Welcome to Villa Bambini Simcha, the warm and cosy Jewish daycare centre located at Nieuw Herlaer 20 in Amsterdam. We opened in summer 2024 with one clear goal: to create a second home for Jewish children aged 0–4 where they feel safe and loved. Our homelike building houses four horizontal groups—one baby group, two toddler groups and one pre-schooler group—each cared for by the same dedicated, loving staff every day. Everything we do revolves around a relaxed atmosphere where children can play, explore and grow. We sing, dance, craft and make music together. Children enjoy a warm, vegetarian and kosher lunch three times a week, complemented by dairy meals and healthy snacks. A stable team ensures familiar faces and continuity, so your child quickly feels at home. Through our parent-portal app you receive daily updates about your child’s experiences. We follow a clear pedagogical policy and provide pre-school education (VVE) rooted in Jewish identity and language. Our garden and outdoor play areas invite discovery and outdoor play. At Villa Bambini Simcha, children, parents and teachers together find a welcoming place where everyone’s best is brought out.
