Welcome to KDV-Verkenners Florijn, our daycare center located at Florijn 45 in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Since 2005 we have been providing childcare services, and since 2019 under the name KDV-Verkenners Florijn. We offer care for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and familiar environment. Our vision is that all children and staff are part of our family. Together with parents, we support children in their free development. We believe it's important that children experience joy in their learning environment, get sufficient physical exercise, and can participate in their own activities. We actively communicate with the children and with you as a parent, ensuring there's always alignment between home and our pedagogical practice. We work with the VVE program Piramide and provide preschool education. Our preschool is open 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. All children follow at least 12 hours of preschool education per week. We collaborate with primary school De Achtsprong for a smooth transition to primary education. Regular parent meetings take place and parents are actively involved in their child's development. Our baby group offers calm care with attention to individual needs. For toddlers and preschoolers, we organize thematic activities such as crafts and games that match their developmental stage. We have separate sleeping areas and use carefully selected care products.
