UniKidz Kade

UniKidz Kade is located in the annex of primary school De Poseidon at Franz Zieglerstraat 7 in Amsterdam IJburg, near the harbour. This site provides toddler care in the form of pre-school and early-school education (VVE) for children aged 2 to 4. We work closely with De Poseidon, a primary school offering Dalton education with a focus on new media. Our activities fit seamlessly with this vision. At UniKidz Kade the emphasis is on four development areas: FitKidz, MindKidz, SoulKidz and SkillsKidz. Every day we offer a broad and challenging programme that gives toddlers extra developmental stimulation. Activities include creative skills such as cooking, crafting and working with clay, focusing on fine motor skills and the hand-brain connection. Our goal is to build a strong bridge to primary education so that children can take the next step well-prepared and full of confidence. We also provide after-school care at this location for the youngest school-going children (4-6 years). Once they turn 7, they move to UniKidz Haven, our 7+ location around the corner, where even more adventurous spaces await discovery. At UniKidz Kade everything revolves around discovering and developing talents in a safe, familiar environment.
