Welcome to Thuishuis Kleurrijk, located at Lyklamawei 5 in the heart of Nijemirdum. We provide small-scale, professional day-care for up to eight children aged 0 to 4 years. Our homely setting is centrally positioned yet surrounded by meadows and trees. Friendly animals—goats, chickens and rabbits—live on the premises and greet the children every day. This green environment sparks curiosity and teaches respect for people and animals alike. At Thuishuis Kleurrijk warmth and security come first. We follow a clear daily rhythm that offers calm and structure, so every child feels safe. Within that framework there is plenty of room to explore: a mud kitchen, sand pit, water and nature tables, and a large shared playground where children can run, cycle and build freely. We believe outdoor play stimulates motor development and sharpens the senses; therefore we go outside almost every day, even in drizzle. Our qualified staff give personal attention to each child. We see every child as unique and follow his or her own pace. Together we sing, read aloud, craft with natural materials and take short walks through the village or across the farmland. In short: at Thuishuis Kleurrijk a child is allowed to be a child and together we enjoy a warm, happy time full of discovery.
