Welcome to Thuishuis Pompidoe, our small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Kollumerpomp. We are located in the village centre ’t Trefpunt at Foijingaweg 15E, just a stone’s throw from the sports field and playground. Our KDV provides care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, vertical group where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together. At Thuishuis Pompidoe the child is central. Every child is unique and deserves respect and personal attention. Our small team – led by Bregtje Kingma – works according to this vision. We offer a safe, secure environment in which your child can develop optimally. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk to stimulate language and speech development and speak both Dutch and Frisian with the children. Our space is set up with different play corners and materials at several heights, so that every age group can find its own place. We work outside a lot: our square can be completely fenced off and offers a sandbox, play house, caterpillar tunnel and bikes. The fresh air promotes your child’s health and fitness. Food is included (except formula). We serve healthy snacks, fruit and bread meals. You only pay for the hours you actually use – we do not charge fixed day parts. Thuishuis Pompidoe is open 47 weeks a year: Monday to Thursday 7:00-17:30 and Friday 7:00-16:00.
