Thuishuis Ninimini

Thuishuis NiniMini is a small-scale daycare located in the monumental Sint Lucia building in the centre of Ter Apel, at Kapelweg 13. We provide day care for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, homely and familiar setting. Our rooms are arranged with cosy play corners: a construction area, a home corner, a large table for crafts and a quiet relaxation corner. Outside there is a spacious garden where children can explore and play freely. A fixed team of four pedagogical staff – Nienke, Charlene, Harma and Kimberly – work as many fixed days as possible so that every child knows who will be there and experiences the comfort of familiarity. Small scale, personal contact with parents and a familiar face in the group are our core values. Every Tuesday afternoon we serve a warm meal. We are open all year round from Monday to Friday, 6.30 am – 6.30 pm, except on public holidays. Other hours can be arranged in consultation. There is no waiting list and you pay by the hour without mandatory half-day sessions. You do not pay for the holiday weeks when Thuishuis is closed. Child-care allowance is available.
