KDV Tante Pollewop B.V.

Tante Pollewop is a small-scale daycare centre on the edge of Haaren, located at Helvoirtseweg 6a. We provide care for up to 43 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre has a homely atmosphere where children should feel at home. We work with three children's groups: two vertical groups for children from 0 to about 2.5 years and our 'Toddler Square' for children from about 2.5 to 4 years. Outside, the children have plenty of space to play in our large natural garden with traffic square and own animal meadow. We believe it is important that children feel safe and comfortable, so they can be themselves and discover. Space for the individual development and needs of children is central to our pedagogical approach. We focus on independence, social skills and respect for themselves and others. Everything is done in consultation with parents, with mutual trust, openness and respect as priorities. Because of our independence, we are not dependent on a large policy structure, which means that communication lines are short and we can maintain a pleasant, informal contact with parents.
