Tamboerke

Tamboerke is our daycare centre located right in the centre of Hoogeveen at Jan Dekkerstraat 1a. We provide care for up to 15 toddlers aged 2 to 4. As soon as you step inside you will notice our homely atmosphere: one cosy room and a green, fully enclosed outdoor playground where children can slide, cycle and enjoy the sandpit. Our morning sessions follow a fixed daily rhythm. This predictability gives toddlers the calm and structure they need to feel safe and at home quickly. Every morning we work with the recognised Uk & Puk programme. Our pedagogical staff have been specially trained in Peutersprongen so that we can offer each toddler exactly the right stimuli. For children who need extra support we have VE places available; a VE indication is required for this. We believe cooperation with parents is essential. Before a child starts, we always schedule an introductory meeting. This can take place at your home or at our location. During the childcare period we maintain close contact with primary schools such as Montessorischool, Villa Kakelbont, Het Palet, Juliana van Stolbergschool and Prof. Titus Brandsma. We also work together with the library, the child health clinic and the SWWH. This ensures a smooth transition to primary school. You can bring your child to us for two mornings a week as standard. With a VE indication, four sessions per week are possible. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 08:30 to 12:30. Feel free to drop by for a tour and a no-obligation chat.
