Tamboerijn

KDV de Tamboerijn is one of the oldest locations of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland, beautifully and quietly located near the city center of Hoorn and the NS train station. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm and safe environment where every child has the space to grow and develop. Our babies and toddlers can safely crawl, play and discover in special playpens. For older toddlers we organize craft activities, read aloud sessions and stimulate social play. Outside, children can play in our beautiful nature discovery garden, where they learn through play and get acquainted with nature. We have a special 3+ group for children aged 3 to 4 years. Sometimes children from 2 years and 9 months can already move to this group earlier, in consultation with parents and depending on available space. In this group we work playfully on skills that are important for a good start in primary school. We regularly make trips to the park, the city playground or visit the Mariaschool and Montessorikindcentrum to ensure a smooth transition to primary education. Our experienced pedagogical staff provide professional childcare with the development of each child at the center. We work with small groups so we can give every child the attention they deserve. Tamboerijn is open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, offering flexible childcare options for working parents.
