Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Meander – de Boedingen, a warm and secure home-away-from-home for children aged 0 to 4. We are part of Stichting Delta-kinderopvang and are located at De Boedingen 27 in Oosterhout, on the edge of the Vrachelen 2 neighbourhood. Our daycare centre has three cosily furnished vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. Each group is equipped with age-appropriate, challenging materials that stimulate curiosity and development. Play-based learning is at the heart of everything we do. Every day we offer a development-oriented programme built around a new theme four times a year. The theme is visible in the hallway and group rooms, ensuring that all activities connect to the children’s world of experience. We start every morning with the Music Quarter: a joyful session full of music, creativity and cooperation. Once a week a certified yoga instructor leads toddler-friendly yoga sessions, and during school hours our preschoolers can use the in-house after-school room for extra challenging play. Our outdoor space is a true paradise. The 750 m² garden offers countless corners, wooden play structures and green areas to explore. We go outside every day, even in light rain. All children have access to rain boots and the youngest ones wear crawling suits so no one has to stay inside. Recently we added an outdoor classroom: a partly covered wooden structure that can be used for expressive activities, outdoor yoga or making music. We believe in the power of mixed-age interaction. Our after-school children regularly play with the daycare children, creating a close-knit community where everyone learns from each other. Our qualified pedagogical staff track every child’s development through a digital child-tracking system, keeping parents informed of daily experiences and milestones. Kinderdagverblijf De Meander – de Boedingen is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30 all year round (except official public holidays).
