Located at Meerwijkweg 2 in Empel, our day-care centre is part of Kindcentrum ’t Wikveld and operated by Kanteel in partnership with primary school Signum. We offer two horizontal groups for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our guiding principle is “seeing every child for who they truly are”. Play-based learning is at the heart of our programme. Themes are chosen to match the children’s world and include singing, music, arts & crafts, story time and outdoor discovery. Children nap outdoors every day under a covered sleeping area designed for the youngest ones. Short, supervised outings to the playground or neighbourhood are organised regularly. Staff track each child’s development with the “Zien!” monitoring system and tailor activities accordingly. We follow official Early Childhood Education (VVE) programmes that stimulate language, numeracy and social skills through play. Parents are closely involved through parent meetings, newsletters and open-door events. All daily necessities are included: nappies, wipes, formula, warm meals, fruit and drinks. We accommodate allergies and special diets. Secure entry ensures safety at drop-off and pick-up. A home-like setting where your child can grow, play and discover from day one.
