IKC De Paradijsvogel (KDV)

Welcome to KDV De Paradijsvogel, part of the Integral Child Centre located at Henk Lensenlaan 1 in Vogelenzang. In our small-scale and cozy daycare center, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in three age groups: 0-4 years, 0-2 years and 2-4 years. Our dedicated childcare professionals take time for each child and enjoy consulting with parents about their child's development and needs. We work according to a clear pedagogical vision with reading, nature, sports and music as central pillars. These themes are reflected daily in our activities. We regularly go out into nature, make use of our own playground and organize musical activities that connect with young children's world of experience. For the youngest ones, we offer quiet moments and stimulate language development through reading and singing. With toddlers and preschoolers, we work on gross and fine motor skills, discover the world around us and practice social skills. The transition from our daycare to toddler care and later education is very small as we are part of IKC De Paradijsvogel. Children grow up in a familiar environment and already know the buildings, faces and working methods from an early age. We work closely with toddler care and education according to a common pedagogical vision, creating a continuous development line. Our spaces are homely and safely furnished with different play corners that invite play and discovery. We have our own outdoor playground where children can romp to their heart's content. For the youngest ones, there is a separate bedroom where they can sleep peacefully in their own beds. Parents are involved through the Les Petits Parent Portal and the parent app, where they can view photos, read messages and communicate with the childcare professionals themselves. At KDV De Paradijsvogel, children and parents quickly feel at home in a warm, safe environment where there is room for individual attention and development.
