't Peuternest

Peuterwerk ’t Peuternest is a small-scale, welcoming toddler care centre right in the heart of Broekland village. We are located on the ground floor of primary school Gerardus Majella, directly adjacent to the playground: one step outside and the children can run, climb and explore. Thanks to this green, safe setting we spend time outdoors almost every day; nature is our greatest teaching resource. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff who guide the toddlers with loving attention. Our approach centres on learning through play. We use the recognised Uk & Puk programme to stimulate language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development in a playful way. We are also registered for Early Childhood Education (VVE), ensuring that our programme dovetails seamlessly with groups 1 and 2 of primary school, making the eventual transition small and familiar. At ’t Peuternest every child has space to be themselves. We provide a safe, homely atmosphere with short, warm lines of communication to parents. We have room for up to fourteen toddlers per session. We are open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Parents can choose one or more fixed sessions per week. Together we explore, connect and enrich your toddler’s world.
