't Mouwtje

Welcome to ’t Mouwtje daycare, located at Huizerweg 49D in the heart of Bussum. We are part of the Stichting Kinderopvang Bussum-Naarden/Muiden-Muiderberg (SKBNM) and have been providing trusted, professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 for more than thirty years. With 124 places we are one of the larger daycare centres in the region, yet our smart layout keeps the atmosphere cosy, cheerful and safe. As soon as you step inside you will notice the abundance of space. Besides separate baby and toddler group rooms we have a large indoor play hall with a reading corner, play kitchen, construction area and stage. We use this central hall alternately with the baby and toddler groups, giving every child extra challenges that match his or her developmental stage. At the same time our pedagogical staff provide calm and tailored guidance. We love the outdoors. Our green garden offers natural play areas designed so that even the youngest infants, as well as toddlers and pre-schoolers, can romp around safely. The baby groups even have their own garden with soft grass and a sheltered baby pen. Toddlers can let off steam on bikes and trikes or mess about with sand and water at the pump. We regularly pop next door to the adjoining park to feed the ducks or watch the cows and horses that graze there in summer. Practical convenience is high on our priority list. Nappies and all meals are included in the price. At lunchtime we serve a fresh, hot meal that is 100 % organic and supplied by our regular caterer Spoony. In between the children receive fruit or snack vegetables, and of course we always have bread and crackers with healthy toppings on hand. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding and record sleep and feed times accurately in the Parent Portal. Parents appreciate staying involved. Through our Parent Portal we share photos, a short daily diary and the latest SKBNM news. For children under 1 we also log exactly when they ate and slept, so you as a parent still feel close.
