KDV 't Klimrek

Welcome to daycare ’t Klimrek, a socially committed, small-scale and personal childcare centre located in the Corlaer district of Nijkerk. We put your child at the centre of everything we do. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely environment where calm, warmth and safety are key. Our building is bright and cosy. The play and sleep areas are equipped with a climate system to ensure a pleasant temperature and good ventilation at all times. Outside, children enjoy a green, enclosed playground with play equipment, a sandbox and a small lawn. The ground floor features underfloor heating, and fire safety is optimal: each group has an emergency exit, and all rooms are fitted with smoke detectors connected to a central fire alarm system. We practise fire drills with the children twice a year. We work with carefully composed groups: baby groups (blue and green), toddler groups (red) and vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. This encourages social development and interaction among the children. Our pedagogical staff guide the natural drive for independence by letting children do many things themselves and giving them small tasks suited to their development. Hygiene is very important to us. Children are provided with their own sleeping bag for naptime, and the mattresses have anti-dust-mite covers to prevent allergic reactions. A cleaner thoroughly cleans the groups and common areas three times a week. We offer regular, flexible, occasional and holiday care.
