For over 30 years, daycare centre ’t Hoekje has been a trusted and familiar place in the heart of Barendrecht. Located at Oranjestraat 1, we welcome up to 38 children each day, divided into three horizontal groups. Our strength lies in our small-scale, homely atmosphere where every child is truly seen and heard. Personal attention is at the core of everything we do. Our experienced, permanent staff carry out their work with love and dedication. They always have time for an extra cuddle, a story or a helping hand. Children are given plenty of room to play, craft, sing and paint. Each week we explore a new theme; we read matching stories, create themed crafts and play games that connect with the children’s world of experience. Outdoor play is a natural part of the day. We have a spacious garden where children can run, climb and enjoy fresh air. Regular trips to the nearby playground add extra variety. On special days such as Sinterklaas, Christmas and King’s Day we celebrate with festive activities that create lasting memories. Flexibility is important to us. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00 and offer both regular and occasional care, so you can arrange childcare exactly when you need it. At ’t Hoekje you can leave your child with complete peace of mind. Our children enter with the biggest smiles, and parents know their little ones are cared for with love and attention every single day.
