KDV 't Boshoekje

Welcome to Partou daycare centre Het Boshoekje, located in the rural village of Epse at Du Tourweg 1. We provide a warm, small-scale childcare setting for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is situated within the J. v.d. Hoevenschool, surrounded by forests and meadows. This green environment offers peace, space and endless opportunities for discovery. Everything we do is centred around familiarity and personal attention. Children play together in one vertical group, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers meet and learn from each other. We work with familiar faces and stable groups, ensuring every child feels safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff know each child and their parents personally. We believe it's important that both parents and children feel at home with us. Our space is bright, homely and colourfully decorated. Large windows offer views of the garden and surrounding greenery. We have our own outdoor area and also have access to the school's play and gym hall and large playground. This allows us to go on daily adventures: playing outside, collecting sticks, counting flowers or visiting the local playground. We follow a consistent daily routine with room for free play, circle time, outdoor activities, sleeping and rest. We offer the toddler programme Uk en Puk, which playfully stimulates language, motor skills and social development. We also regularly take nature walks or visit the library. Health and nutrition are important to us. We serve daily fresh, healthy meals and snacks. For children up to 12 months, we also provide a warm meal. We accommodate allergies and dietary requirements in consultation with parents. Sleeping is done safely and peacefully. We have separate sleeping areas and special outdoor beds for those who prefer sleeping in fresh air. We align sleeping routines with what is customary at home. We work closely with parents through our Partou parent app, where we share photos, milestones and information. There is also an active parent committee that contributes to policy and activities.
