't Beukenootje

Welcome to ‘t Beukenootje daycare, part of Kidscasa Kinderopvang. Our location at Beukenlaan 2 in Oldekerk offers small-scale, homely childcare for children aged 0 to 4. We operate two horizontal age groups: the Blue group for babies and toddlers 0-2 years and the Green group for preschoolers 2-4 years. Each group has its own playfully and challengingly furnished space tailored to the children’s developmental stage. At ‘t Beukenootje we believe children should feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff provide warm care and follow your child’s natural rhythms. For the youngest this means bottle-feeding at set times, nappy changes planned in consultation with parents, and quiet naps in our separate sleeping rooms. For the toddlers we organise activities such as making music, arts & crafts and sporty games in the garden. We use DoenKids, an online activity database, to choose and carry out themes together with the children. Our large, green outdoor area is a paradise for curious children. There is plenty of space to run, play with sand and water, and discover nature. We go outside almost every day, even with the babies in a pram. The garden features a sandpit, trampoline, ride-on toys and a big lawn where children can move freely. Besides regular daycare we also run a playgroup on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8.45 to 11.45 am. This group joins the Green group and gives 2-4-year-olds the chance to develop skills through play. We work with small groups so every child receives lots of personal attention. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 6.00 pm. Extended care is possible from 6.30 am or until 6.30/7.00 pm.
