STH Het Palet

Welcome to STH Het Palet, our daycare center located at Marsgeel 18 in Zoetermeer. We are part of Gro-up Kinderopvang and provide care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in two horizontal groups of maximum 16 children with 2 dedicated pedagogical staff members each. Our facility is situated within Kindcentrum Het Palet, with whom we collaborate closely to ensure a continuous developmental pathway. We follow the VVE program Piramide, which playfully stimulates language development, motor skills and social abilities. Each morning begins with a joint circle time followed by activities such as reading aloud, singing and creative projects. Our pedagogical staff are trained to provide additional support to children with language delays. Every child has a dedicated mentor who closely monitors their development and serves as the primary contact for parents. The spaces are designed with various play corners where children can choose where and with whom they want to play. We have safe indoor and outdoor play areas where children can romp and explore. We regularly organize small excursions in the neighborhood and celebrate Dutch holidays such as Sinterklaas and Christmas. For children with an indication, we offer 16 hours per week of VVE, with extra attention to language stimulation through reading books, singing songs and having conversations. We value parental involvement and keep parents informed about their child's development through our parent app. During the transition to primary school, we arrange a warm handover with all schools in the Rokkeveen district.
