KDV St. Plechelmus

Welcome to KDV St. Plechelmus, our daycare center located at Wilbertstraat 15A in Hengelo. We are situated in the IKC St. Plechelmus building in the Hengelose Es district, where together with the primary school, Spring! preschool, and Partou after-school care, we form an integral child center. This unique collaboration offers your child a continuous development path from 0 to 12 years at one familiar location. At KDV St. Plechelmus, we provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our horizontal group structure means children are grouped by age, with babies and toddlers having separate spaces tailored to their specific needs. We follow the principle of 'discovering the world through play'. Our pedagogical staff stimulate your child's development through singing together, storytelling, and fun activities. We have our own playground where children can play safely and discover nature, and we regularly use the large gymnasium for movement activities. For the youngest ones, we provide bottle feeding according to your child's schedule and offer quiet sleeping areas where your baby can sleep safely. For toddlers and preschoolers, we serve daily fresh and healthy meals, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. We use our own Partou app to keep you informed of all your child's milestones and special moments. Our goal is to give your child a good start for primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to preschool and later primary education.
