St. Jan

Welcome to daycare center St. Jan, located at Schoolpad 4 in the heart of Oosteind. As part of Delta Education, we provide small-scale and welcoming childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our daycare center works closely with St. Jan primary school and offers pre-school education (VVE), where we stimulate children's development in language, mathematics, motor skills and social-emotional abilities through play. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and secure environment where every child can be themselves. We work in small, horizontal groups with a maximum of 16 children, allowing us to give individual attention to each child. Activities are tailored to the age and developmental stage of the children. We use recognized VVE programs and closely monitor each child's development, so we can adjust our offerings to their needs. Our location has its own play area and we regularly use the school playground and gymnasium of the primary school. We have a warm collaboration with the primary school teachers, ensuring a smooth transition to kindergarten classes. Parents are actively involved in their child's development and we regularly organize parent meetings. Daycare center St. Jan is officially registered with the National Childcare Register under number 138765996. We are supervised by GGD West-Brabant and meet all legal quality requirements. Our mission is to give children a solid foundation and teach them to deal with themselves, with others and with the world around them.
