Spot4kids KDV Lopik Oost

Spot4kids KDV Lopik Oost is located at Lopikerweg Oost 5A in Lopik and offers daycare for up to 70 children aged 0 to 4 years. The nursery is situated at the quiet rear of our grounds, completely shielded from traffic. We operate horizontal groups: three baby/toddler rooms (Troetelberen, Teddyberen and Gummyberen) for children aged 0-2 and two toddler rooms (IJsberen and Wasberen) for children aged 2-4. Each group has its own safe, stimulating space with clearly defined corners so children can choose their own activities. Outdoors we have a spacious, fenced garden where the youngest can play safely and toddlers can practise on the traffic circuit with bikes, scooters and ride-on cars. Our pedagogical policy focuses on making every child feel safe and secure. We create calm and structure, offer positive attention and tailor activities to each child’s curiosity and developmental stage. Every day we read aloud from books linked to the current theme, do arts and crafts, sing songs and use our theme table with matching materials. Early-years education (VVE) is standard: we follow the ‘Kaleidoscoop’ programme to give children a flying start at primary school through play. Practical matters such as bottle feeding, fresh fruit and drinks are included. We accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. The youngest children sleep in separate bedrooms with cots and cot beds; older toddlers may nap outdoors in one of our outdoor sleeping huts if desired. Parents are actively involved through our parent portal and are always welcome to drop in for coffee and a chat.
