KDV Speelweide

Welcome to KDV Speelweide, our daycare centre in the Aldlân-West district of Leeuwarden. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. The setting is calm and clearly structured so your child quickly feels at home. We work with permanent staff in horizontal groups: babies (0-2) and toddlers (2-4) are cared for separately, ensuring every age receives exactly what it needs. Your child’s development is our focus. From 2.5 years we offer pre-school education (VE), playfully stimulating language, numeracy, motor and social-emotional skills. Our pedagogical staff monitor each child’s progress and tailor activities accordingly. We use natural materials and outdoor play is part of every day. Our spacious garden gives plenty of room to run, explore and grow. We value close contact with parents. Together we discuss your wishes and your child’s needs. Every morning and afternoon there is time for a personal chat. We are open Monday to Friday 07:15-18:15. Half-day care is possible and we offer flexible days.
