SDK Toermalijn

Welcome to SDK Toermalijn, our atmospheric daycare center located in the peaceful Dubbeldam neighborhood of Dordrecht. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and warm environment that immediately feels familiar. Our location is cozily furnished and offers plenty of space to play and grow. At SDK Toermalijn we work with two daycare groups for children aged 0-2 years and three groups for children aged 2-4 years. Children can enjoy playing and developing here: we read books together, color, play with clay, do crafts and spend lots of time playing outside. We eat and drink together and when needed, children take an afternoon nap. We work with overarching themes according to Uk & Puk – a recognized preschool education program that stimulates the development of young children. Outside there is plenty of greenery, multiple sandboxes and a real water pump. The spacious outdoor playground offers ample opportunities to run, romp and discover nature. The safe and challenging outdoor space is an extension of our indoor areas where children can move freely. Our pedagogical professionals are ready every day to lovingly guide your child in his or her development. We work closely with parents and create an environment where every child feels at home.
