Welcome to Childcare Het Schakelveld, part of Plateau Kinderopvang. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in the Multi-Functional Facility Het Schakelveld at Witterhoofdweg 1D in Assen. We offer both daycare and toddler care services. Your child can safely discover the world in a familiar environment. We guide your child when needed and give them space to explore. Our childcare professionals provide warm and genuine attention to each child. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for in separate age groups. For toddlers, we offer pre-school and early education (VVE), with specific attention to language development. We use programs like Uk en Puk for our three-plus groups. Through active play and activities, toddlers learn new skills that are important for the transition to primary education. You can choose fixed days or a more flexible form of childcare. Daycare is available in morning and/or afternoon sessions, with extension possibilities. We offer half-day care and work with various contract options. For specific needs, please contact our Customer Contact department. Our location has its own outdoor playground where children can play and discover nature. We provide a homely atmosphere with separate sleeping areas for the youngest ones. Diaper changes and bottle feeding are part of our daily care.
