KDV Rijnvliet

KDV Rijnvliet is a warm and professional daycare centre for children aged 0 to 4, located at Pecanlaan 50 in the green Rijnvliet district of Utrecht. We are part of the Integral Child Centre Rijnvliet (IKC), where education and childcare seamlessly come together in one continuous development line from 0 to 13 years. Our daycare has four bright, calm group rooms that all open directly onto a secure outdoor playground. In addition, we have an indoor play area and a play hall, so children can move and explore even when the weather is less favourable. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that provides structure and predictability, while still allowing room for individual needs. Activities—such as reading aloud, singing, crafts and play—are always linked to a current theme. We regularly organise workshops, for example a music workshop or toddler gym, to offer children new stimuli and challenges. At the heart of our programme is the Uk & Puk developmental method. This method not only stimulates language development, but also focuses on social-emotional, motor and sensory development, and introduces early numeracy. Our pedagogical staff create a physically and socially-emotionally safe environment in which every child can develop at their own pace and in their own way. We use natural materials and colours in the furnishings to create a calm, homely atmosphere. There is plenty of development-oriented play material that invites children to explore, play and learn. We believe it is important that children feel seen and heard, and we guide them step by step in their unique developmental journey. Parents are actively involved through the parent app Social Schools, where we share daily photos and reports and where parents can indicate their privacy preferences. Registration for a place can be done directly through Kind & Co Ludens. KDV Rijnvliet offers a second home to a maximum of 64 children, where playing, learning and growing up go hand in hand.
