Welcome to daycare centre Ravelijn, part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) ‘het Ravelijn’ located at De Steenderens 1 in the centre of Westervoort. We provide care for the very youngest: children from 0 to 2 years old. Our centre is open five days a week from 07:30 to 18:30, giving parents flexible access to professional, tailor-made childcare. Our daycare works closely together with toddler group De Raven, primary school het Ravelijn and after-school care De Ruiters under one roof. This unique collaboration means that brothers and sisters can still see each other and that the transition to the next phase is smooth. We believe in a familiar environment in which every child feels safe to explore and grow. We operate from the humanistic values of our partner organisation Humankind: care, respect and space for every child. Our experienced pedagogical staff provide a warm, homely atmosphere in which play, sleep and development are central. There are separate sleeping areas and a safe indoor and outdoor play area. We regularly use the two parks next to the IKC: Park Steenderens and Horsterpark, ideal for fresh air and nature experiences. Daycare centre Ravelijn is there for your child and for you.
