PSZ Grote Ikke

Welcome to PSZ Grote Ikke, located in the heart of Haarsteeg at Mari van Eschstraat 2. We are a professional playgroup for children aged 2 to 4, where learning and growing happen through play. Our bright and spacious 120 m² facility is specially designed to spark the curiosity of young explorers. Everything we do revolves around creating a safe and familiar environment where every child can develop at their own pace. Our daily routine is made visible through rhythm cards, so children know what to expect at each moment of the day. Every day, we choose a ‘little helper’ who, together with the teacher, places a clip on the card that matches the current activity. This could be sitting in a circle, playing outside, tidying up, eating fruit, singing a song, or doing an activity. When we go outside, the ‘little helper’ might even transform into a bus driver. The long rope the children hold together becomes the bus, and together we safely arrive at our destination. We follow the pedagogical vision of Mikz, where joy in play and learning is central. Our activities are tailored to the world of toddlers and stimulate language development, creativity, and social skills. Think of storytelling, singing, crafting, and exploring nature. We do not offer full-day care but work with morning and afternoon sessions, allowing parents the flexibility to choose what suits their family best. Our location accommodates up to 14 children per session, allowing us to give plenty of personal attention. We believe it’s important for children to feel safe and seen. That’s why we work with consistent pedagogical staff and a clear structure. Our team is always ready to speak with parents and think along about their child’s development.
